Final Storyboard
Our Final draft of our music video shows; the girl and boy both walk into the bar, they both meet and leave the bar, show interest in each other inside the car, boy drops the girl home, there about to kiss but she gets scared so closes the door on him, he gets upset and starts walking towards the car, she texts him saying see you in the morning and the boy gets happy. Within this narrative the chorus comes in three different locations; basketball court, bridge and graffiti place.
ANALYSIS: There are no complications with this story board and we are going to shoot our music video according to this story board.
Second draft
This storyboard is showing the male character and artists (both being the same individual) leave the car to enter the bar.
The male character falls in love with the girl at the bar and they leave together in his car. Then the chorus comes where the male character is shown to be in a basketball court with his friends lip-sing the chorus. As the chorus finished the camera goes back to the car where they show romance and then the male character takes the female character back to a hotel/house. They both enter the room and stay the night there and when he waked us next to her he's very happy and assures her that his feelings for her is everlasting.
ANALYSIS: The problem with this story board was that it shows vulgarity by showing the female and male character going to the hotel room. After deep thought we realised that Lupe Fiasco (our artist's songs) has always been against the conventional features of Hip-Hop. By showing vulgarity, through our music video, we follow the conventional features which Lupe Fiasco was against. Therefore, we decided to change the plot after 2.02 seconds show in the story board above.
First Draft
Our first idea of our storyboard is shown below, however ,when we sat down as a group and listened to our song over and over again we realised that the lyrics kick in very fast after the first couple of beats and as the beat is up tempo and fast it will not suit the the first location in this storyboard to be a room.

ANALYSIS: This was our first ever story board, there were many problems with this story board. The locations were very simple and the story line was not original or different. Another major problem with this story board was the ending. We were thinking of having the ending as a dream. The technique of the whole music video being a dream is disappointing for the audience, therefore we decided that in our second story board drafting we will not include it and change these setting.
