Analysis of Digi-Pak on Tank Girl

Tank Girl- Analysis of the picture of tank girl
Gun with a teddy bear hanging- The contrast between two different personalities or natures is being shown by having a gun with may be a childhood memory of hers which she has kept close her heart. This allows the audience to emphathise better with her as it reminds them of a childhood memory which could be very special to them.
Australian Flag- The Australian Flag is shown on her sleeve allows us to relate other item on the Digi-pak to her culture.
The funny looking animal that looks like a Kangaroo on her back- The kangaroo is also possessing a smoke in his mouth, this could be seen as a mockery of the girl or even relate to her child like side and the need for such a small creature to smoke could relate to her childhood.
Bow and Arrow on her head- It could mean various things but my interpretation is that she might of fell in love and that probably made her the way she is.
One arm is shown to be a jet black colour and the other a light green colour.. I think by having one arm in a lighter colour and the other in a jet black colour could represent her split personality  which has also been shown in other ways such as; the representation of the teddy bear hanging of the gun. All these signs signify the lightness in this girl and that she's not just bad, rough, strong and lethal which is the first impression we receive whilst taking a quick glimpse at the Digi-pak.
Cigarette- Dollar sign on cigarette shows the significance of money and power and also allows the audience to understand a bit more about her personality and character.
The star- symbol of power
Overall I feel that this image reminds of a distopia society. There's a sense of anti establishment and an essence of the culture is shown through this picture. The gun and the Australian flag show  the unhappiness of the political movement, this is shown through her rebellious side by holding a gun etc.
